Job Title: Digital QA Tester

At FX Digital, we're seeking a skilled Digital QA Tester to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in the full test life cycle, from requirement analysis to test execution and defect reporting.
  2. Enforce and uphold quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Hold yourself and colleagues accountable for the standard of work released, ensuring it meets both aesthetic and functional requirements.
  4. Document test plans and test cases, and maintain these records.
  5. Report and prioritize bugs and issues raised in various channels.
  6. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Collaborate with Junior and Senior QAs to implement broader automation coverage across current and future projects.
  8. Assist with the personal development of more junior members of the QA team.
Requirements:
  1. Good understanding of HTML and CSS.
  2. Knowledge of APIs, testing of them, and related tools.
  3. Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
  4. Excellent analytical skills and eye for detail.
  5. Able to effectively communicate, written and verbally, to all levels within the business.
  6. Experience with version control and workflows, and relevant tools.
  7. Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  8. Able to demonstrate great attention to detail, care, and accuracy while maintaining the speed of work to meet deadlines.
  9. Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira.
  10. Exceptional understanding of UX qualities.
  11. Experience using software debugging tools (e.g. web inspector).
  12. 3+ years of relevant professional experience working in a wider team with multiple concurrent projects.
  13. Relevant work experience with OTT apps (Connected Devices/Smart TV).
  14. Working knowledge of implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  15. Experience implementing or integrating unit testing.
  16. Experience testing on Playstation and/or Xbox platforms.
  17. Experience testing HTML video players.
  18. Relevant work experience testing iOS and Android mobile apps.
