About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Governance Specialist to join our team at Som3. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the protection of our information assets and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guarantee the protection of information assets and technologies through the implementation of robust security controls and procedures.
  • Conduct and document internal audits for both the company and clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement security awareness training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Manage third-party risk management and vendor security program reviews to ensure the security of our supply chain.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to scope engagements and deliver high-quality services to our customers.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in InfoSec Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) as well as InfoSec Operations.
  • Proven experience contributing to an Information Security Management System (ISMS) certified to ISO27001 standards.
  • Strong knowledge of the NIST framework and ability to apply it in a real-world setting.
  • CISSP certification and good knowledge of the Cyber Essentials Plus Scheme, UK & EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Data Protection Act (2018).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in time, priority, and task management, with the ability to anticipate problems, resolve doubt, and take decisive action.
