We are seeking dedicated and versatile SEN LSAs to join our supportive team at SEN schools in Southend on sea. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for compassionate individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, both in and out of the classroom.
  2. Assist teachers in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
  3. Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students.
  4. Encourage student participation and engagement through differentiated instruction and activities.
  5. Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  6. Support the development of students' social and communication skills.
Requirements:
  1. Experience working as an SEN LSA or in a similar role within an educational setting.
  2. Understanding of various special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  5. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the individual needs of each student.
  6. Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.
