Nursery Assistant Job Description

This is an ideal opportunity for those passionate about early years education and committed to making a difference in children's lives. As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, helping them explore, learn, and develop through creative play and structured activities.

The Key Responsibilities include planning and leading fun, age-appropriate activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of every child in your care, building lasting relationships with children, parents, and staff, and monitoring and celebrating children's progress and milestones.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a nursery or early years setting
  • NVQ Level 3 in Early Years is a bonus, but not essential
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children and families

We offer competitive pay rates starting at £13.10 per hour (qualified with NVQ Level 3) PAYE | £16.25 per hour Umbrella, flexible hours, weekly pay, holiday pay, pension scheme, ongoing training, and a referral bonus of £200 for referring a friend.
