About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Band 6 nurse to join our team at the Wolverton Centre, a well-established Contraception, Sexual Health and HIV service based at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to clients with contraception and sexual health needs, ensuring a high standard of care and excellent client outcomes.
  • Lead and manage the nursing team, overseeing the results and partner notification process, and providing leadership and management to junior technicians and nursing staff.
  • Develop and implement effective service improvement initiatives, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive care to clients, including medication collection services, booked appointments, and PrEP services.

  • DFSRH or equivalent qualification
  • Implant trained - Faculty or equivalent
  • Nurse prescriber
  • Minimum 24 months post-registration experience
  • Sexual health and/or Contraception experience
