This is an exciting opportunity to join the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust as a Senior Neonatal Paediatrics Specialist.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced neonatal consultant to join our team in providing high-quality patient-centered care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neonatology and paediatric cardiology, with a proven track record of delivering excellent clinical outcomes.

The role involves participating in the delivery of neonatal care, performing echocardiograms, and working closely with the trust's paediatric cardiology lead and network. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, provide expert diagnostic opinions, and contribute to strategic planning and governance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient-centered care in neonatology and paediatric cardiology
  • Participate in strategic planning and governance activities
  • Work closely with the trust's paediatric cardiology lead and network
  • Provide expert diagnostic opinions and conduct echocardiograms
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity
Requirements
  • Entry on GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months
  • MBBS and MRCPCH or equivalent qualification
  • Paediatric CCT with interest in neonatology and paediatric cardiology
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent clinical outcomes in neonatology and paediatric cardiology
