Job Summary:

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a reliable and physically fit HGV Driver to join our team in Chelmsford. As a Waste Management Driver, you will be responsible for collecting residential waste and recyclables from homes and businesses, and transporting them to disposal or recycling facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and transporting waste and recyclables in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operating a lifting mechanism to tip waste from bins into the lorry
  • Reporting any problems with waste collections
  • Assisting waste collection operatives with collections

Requirements:

  • 2 years HGV driving experience (not essential)
  • Valid CPC Card
  • Ability to work quickly and cleanly, with a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Hours:

6:30/7am start - 9.25 hours day (job and finish)

Tuesday to Friday

37 hours a week (overtime available depending on workload)
