We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated cardiac matron to join our nursing leadership team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
About the RoleAs a cardiac matron, you will be responsible for providing professional and clinical leadership to the nursing staff across the directorate, with a focus on designated areas of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Develop and implement clinical policies and guidelines
- Conduct audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care
- Develop and manage budgets and resources
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Post-registration qualification in cardiology or cardiovascular nursing
- Significant experience at Band 7 or above in a related specialty
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work strategically and manage budgets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and accurate typing skills
