Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates, and liaising with insurance companies and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess vehicle damage and prepare detailed estimates
- Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair vehicles
- Work effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain repair methodologies
- Stay up-to-date with repair methodologies, insurer literature, and manufacturer bulletins
- Collaborate with colleagues in the bodyshop and across functional areas to ensure efficient repair processes
Requirements:
- NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualification with a solid bodyshop background
- Full UK driving license
