Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA Estimator

FMG Repair Services is seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA Estimator to join our team in Mansfield. As a key member of our bodyshop, you will be responsible for assessing damaged vehicles, determining the extent of the damage, and preparing estimates for repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of the damage
  • Determine the prescribed repair method and prepare estimates for repair
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair the vehicle
  • Work effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain and ensure understanding of the repair methodology
  • Stay up-to-date with repair methodologies, insurer literature, and manufacturer bulletins
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the bodyshop and across functional areas to ensure efficient and safe vehicle repair
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualification with a solid bodyshop background
  • Full UK driving licence
