Vehicle Damage Assessor Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services. As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing the extent of damage to vehicles and preparing estimates for repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage
  • Prepare estimates for repairs, including costs and timeframes
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair vehicles
  • Work effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain and ensure understanding of repair methodologies
  • Stay up-to-date with repair methodologies and industry standards

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
