We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Family Law Director to lead our team of family lawyers in Bedford. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising a busy team, setting achievable targets, and developing the team to meet clients' objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supervising a team of family lawyers
  • Setting targets to develop the team
  • Tailoring and choreographing cases to meet clients' objectives
  • Addressing and resolving client concerns
  • Problem-solving and conducting legal analysis
  • Negotiating with clients and on their behalf

Requirements for the role include:

  • Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a high-performing team
  • Extensive experience in private family law
  • Proven private family law and existing litigation experience in matrimonial finance and private child law cases
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize
  • Able to take a structured approach and framework
  • Commercially minded and forward-thinking

We offer a competitive salary, annual bonus, profit share, excellent training and development, and flexible working arrangements.

Summary of the role:

Salary: £75,000 - £90,000

Location: Bedford

Type of Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours, flexible
