About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Worker to join our team at Llanarth Court Hospital, a 114-bedded forensic hospital providing a secure environment for men and women with mental illness and or personality disorder.
Key Responsibilities
- Support junior HCWs and mentor new starters
- Be a positive role model and display a creative approach to new initiatives
- Act as a ward champion in specialist areas of forensic service delivery
- Deliver training topics confidently
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in a healthcare setting
- Hold a driving license with no more than six penalties
- Be prepared to become a hospital driver
- Hold a minimum NVQ Level 1 or GCSEs in English and Mathematics
- Have completed the Care Certificate or be prepared to complete
- Understand the need for strict confidentiality
- Demonstrate basic IT literacy
