Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operational Controls Specialist to join our team in Warwick. As a key member of our Utilities industry client, you will play a vital role in shaping and implementing robust controls strategies across various workstreams.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Contribute to the change process, ensuring timely completion from impact assessment to user acceptance testing and training.
  2. Collaborate with our testing partner to develop and approve test scripts for both systemized and non-systemized controls.
  3. Support the user acceptance testing process and provide assistance in controls testing when required.
  4. Work closely with our training partner to develop and approve training materials for controls and assist with training sessions.
  5. Partner with DD&T (Digital, Data & Technology) to establish and embed IT general controls, leveraging expertise in HR, Finance, and Procurement-related aspects.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A qualified accounting background (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
  2. Extensive experience in controls design and implementation, preferably within the Utilities sector.
  3. Relevant certifications in controls or related fields.
Salary Information

This is a 6-month contract, and we are offering a competitive salary of £36,000 per annum (£600 per day via Umbrella inside IR35), reflecting the market rate for this role in the Warwick area.
