Mental Health Support Worker - Residential

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Worker to provide residential care and support to young adults with learning disabilities and challenging behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To respond and report robustly and effectively to disclosures and concerns of abuse, as defined by the SBNI core policies and procedures
  • To promote or undertake personal care duties in the case of young people with a disability where required
  • To accompany young people on leisure activities, holidays, outings, and visits, including attendance at appropriate church services

Requirements:

  • 4 GCSEs A-C (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent
  • 2 years' experience in similar roles working with young people with learning disabilities and challenging behavioural needs
  • Flexible availability for evening, weekends, night and day shifts as per rota requirements
