**About the Role**

We are seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Registered Learning Disability Nurse or Registered General Nurse to join our expert multidisciplinary team in our purpose-built 49 bed Specialist Care Home located in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire.

The successful candidate will deliver compassionate, patient-centred care while maintaining the highest clinical standards. They will be responsible for assessing residents' physical, psychological and social needs, developing tailored care plans and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing residents' physical, psychological and social needs
  • Developing tailored care plans
  • Working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Providing clear explanations of how aging affects health and lifestyle
  • Leading and supervising the multi-disciplinary team
  • Organising and coordinating staff duties

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Registered Learning Disability Nurse or Registered General Nurse
  • Experience in mental health care, particularly with challenging behaviours
  • Strong communication, administrative and computer skills
  • A compassionate, person-centred approach to care
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
