Financial Reporting and Operations Role

Grafton Banks Finance is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting and Operations professional to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily cash flows, including bank transfers, invoice financing, and exchange rates
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist in preparing monthly cash flow forecasts and weekly financial KPI reports
  • Calculate sales commissions and maintain fixed assets registers
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and year-end accounts, as well as design and prepare standard and ad-hoc reports
  • Provide holiday cover for purchase ledger and credit control tasks
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have at least 2 years of practical experience in finance, with strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and exposure to accounting software. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with finance and non-finance professionals.

AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications are desirable, and support for further development is available.
