About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Management Coordinator to join our team at Avove Limited. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of our properties across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Management: Control and monitor property-related outgoings, including rent, service charges, rates, and utility bills.
  • Quotations and Procurement: Obtain quotations for various works and items, and manage the procurement process.
  • Site Visits: Visit each site at least twice annually to ensure the fabric of the building is maintained and serviced to a high standard, within agreed budgets.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with office managers and service providers, and be the first point of contact for any property-related issues.
  • Office Moves and Dilapidation: Assist with office moves and manage dilapidation claims, including carrying out remedial and decorative works.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety compliance, including fire safety assessments, in conjunction with the Head of HSEQ and regional HSEQ representatives.
  • Risk Management: Proactively manage risk and deal with insurance compliance, including raising insurance claims as necessary.
  • Environmental Support: Understand environmental needs within the building environment and provide support to the ESG steering group as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in facilities management or a related field is essential.
  • Leadership Skills: Good leadership skills, with the ability to direct a group of office managers.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with excellent document management and IT skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel widely across the UK.
