Commercial Account Manager

The People Pod is seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their team in Manchester. As an Account Handler, you will play a vital role in driving business growth by maintaining existing client relationships and developing new ones. This will involve working closely with Senior Brokers and Directors to provide tailored insurance solutions and meeting clients' insurance needs.
Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining an existing portfolio of clients and developing new ones.
- Providing comprehensive customer support and advice to meet clients' insurance needs.
- Liaising and negotiating with underwriters to identify suitable insurance products.
- Handling day-to-day queries and enquiries from clients and insurers.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience in the insurance industry as a Broker, Account Handler, or similar role. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills are essential, along with knowledge of multiple insurance products and services. A working knowledge of insurance software (Acturis or similar) is desirable but not required. CII qualification or working towards would be advantageous. This position offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
