IT Internal Audit Manager

Marks Sattin is working with a leading organisation to recruit an IT Internal Audit Manager to join their Internal Audit team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business during its transformation period. As a key member of the Internal Audit team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of IT-related risks and controls.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Internal Audit and will be responsible for conducting audits, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to mitigate risks. You will also contribute to the development of the Internal Audit methodology and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
The role will include:
- Managing the end-to-end audit process, with a focus on IT subject areas and IT Change projects
- Planning and executing assurance engagements, including those with complex routes
- Providing expert judgment and recommendations on audit findings, written in a clear and concise manner
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within the Internal Audit function and supporting the execution of these initiatives
- Maintaining and developing relationships with senior stakeholders, including presenting audit findings at Executive management and Board level
- Supporting the Head of Internal Audit and the wider audit team with IT expertise, including managing specialist IT audits delivered by third-party partners
As part of this role, you will also have the opportunity to work on non-IT audits and tasks, as required by the business and the team.
Requirements:
- Experience in end-to-end audits, with a strong understanding of IT subject areas and IT Change projects
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and data analytics
- A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, IIA, CISA, CISM, or CISSP
