About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our team as a Clinical Trainer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our HCSW Education Team in the implementation of the All Wales Clinical HCSW Career and Skills Framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training autonomously and as a team, providing instruction for clinical elements of the All Wales NHS Clinical HCSW Induction Programme.
  • Undertake assessment of learning and maintain up-to-date records of learning and development, in line with policy and procedure.
  • Facilitate with senior staff within universities, colleges, and schools, providing information and advice to those individuals who wish to become future HCSWs and/or registered nurses/healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in the NHS as a HCSW, Nursing Assistant, or Therapy Assistant.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • NVQ Level 3, plus additional knowledge of clinical procedures and patient conditions acquired through theoretical courses and HCSW experience to Diploma Level equivalency.
