About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landfill Gas Engineer to join our team in Bristol/South UK. The successful candidate will have experience working with engines and be motivated to train and develop in waste-to-energy.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring gas collection systems on landfill sites, including balancing of analysers and downloading data.
  • Maintenance, fault diagnosis, and breakdown of gas collection systems.
  • Power generation asset maintenance, including engines and generator sets.
  • Plant equipment maintenance (mechanical and electrical).
  • 24-hour emergency call out - 1 in 6 weeks.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical engineer with experience in working with engines - HGV, diesel, marine, navy, army, REME, etc.
  • Mechanical maintenance, service, and repair experience.
  • Motivated to train and develop.
  • IT literate with ability to use laptop.
