We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our team at Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contracts management, including pre and post-construction activity, site and installation, procurement, and health and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all construction activity associated with the project, ensuring that work is carried out in strict accordance with method statements and risk assessments.
- Manage all associated commercial costing of the project, including any variation activity.
- Maintain health and safety standards on site, assessing tasks to produce, amend or add to method statements and risk assessments as required.
- Organize and supervise plant, materials, labour, and sub-contractors to meet programme requirements.
- Check quality, ensuring that work conforms with specification and drawings.
- Coordinate deliveries with main contractors on-site systems.
- Attend meetings with clients/main contractors as required.
- Supervise sub-contract labour to ensure work meets our requirements.
- Give weekly toolbox talks to labour and sub-contractors.
- Experience in roofing or cladding
- SSSTS qualification
- CSCS card
- Previous experience as a contracts manager or senior site manager with commercial construction project experience
