**Job Summary:** SEND Teaching Assistant - Shrewsbury
We are seeking an exceptional SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable SEND school in Shrewsbury. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
About the Role:
- Work closely with students who have SEND, providing individualized support to help them overcome challenges and achieve academic success.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Help students develop essential life skills, including social and emotional skills, through engaging activities and workshops.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and personal care plans, ensuring students receive tailored support.
- Assist with classroom management and provide general support to teachers, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
