About the Role

The Head of Regulatory Analytics will play a pivotal part in the transformation of the Data function within the OfS, forming a key part of the Senior Leadership team of the Data function.

This role will be responsible for leading teams of data analysts as a manager of managers, understanding and translating organisational and data vision, and inspiring teams to deliver.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in analytics, ideally gained within multiple organisations, and will be able to challenge the status quo, understanding approaches in using data to regulate and how information can be exploited to improve this.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead teams of data analysts as a manager of managers
  2. Translate organisational and data vision into actionable insights
  3. Drive an inclusive and collaborative working culture across the OfS
  4. Ensure decision making is data-led and use of modern technologies and working practices are maximised

Requirements

  1. A strong background in analytics, ideally gained within multiple organisations
  2. An ongoing commitment to personal development and data landscape awareness
  3. Awareness of the modern data stack and associated methodologies
  4. Excellent knowledge of modern data ops and agile working practices
