About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Product Safety Manager to join our team in Edinburgh or Newcastle. As a key member of our Product Safety Team, you will be responsible for managing the Product Safety and Environmental Impact of our Advanced AESA Radar product portfolio.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of safety tools and techniques, including Hazard Log Management; Hazard Identification; Functional Failure Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, Risk Assessment and ALARP justifications.

A strong ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and drive process improvements through data-driven analysis is essential for this role.

The salary for this position is £95,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience of being able to define and implement an appropriate safety strategy
  • Ability to obtain delegated board signatory for Product Safety
  • Experience of working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders of varying seniorities to achieve Product safety and/or Product security certification in a regulated environment
  • Capability to identify and direct improvements to complex technical and business processes
