Our projects include but are not limited to Healthcare, Hospitality, Education, Leisure, Retail and office spaces. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a suitably qualified Mechanical Contracts Manager or an experienced and ambitious Project Manager to fill this role.

Job Overview

As a Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of multiple projects from inception to completion. You'll lead a team of skilled engineers and operatives, ensuring that projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire project life-cycle, from initial planning to final handover. Coordinate activities, allocate resources, and ensure timely project completion.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other external partners. Effective communication is key to project success.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial targets. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Work closely with designers, surveyors, and other relevant parties to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines. Regularly review progress and provide updates to senior management.
  • Monitor workmanship quality, address any issues promptly, and maintain high standards throughout the project.
  • Provide guidance and technical expertise to the engineering team. Troubleshoot challenges and optimize project processes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years as a Project Manager, preferably within the field.
  • Relevant qualifications (SSSTS/SMSTS). Other qualifications in plumbing or pipefitting, or project management are an advantage.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required for project assignments.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
