Job Role: Children's Support WorkerAs a Children's Support Worker with Nurseplus, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young adults in care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and safeguard the wellbeing of children and young people
- Assist with daily routines, including community and educational settings
- Organize and facilitate social activities to promote socialization and engagement
- Transport children and young adults as required
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to implement safe practice and promote positive outcomes
- Offer high levels of supervision and support to children and young adults
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments
- Minimum 12 months post-qualification experience working with children and/or young adults
- Age 21 or above to meet industry regulations
- Knowledge in one of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
- Diploma level 3 in children's and young people's care, with level 4 desirable
- Enhanced DBS clearance, which can be applied for upon registration
- Full UK driving license
- Flexible shifts to suit your needs, including full-time, part-time, days, nights, and weekends
