Job Role: Children's Support Worker

As a Children's Support Worker with Nurseplus, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young adults in care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and safeguard the wellbeing of children and young people
  • Assist with daily routines, including community and educational settings
  • Organize and facilitate social activities to promote socialization and engagement
  • Transport children and young adults as required
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to implement safe practice and promote positive outcomes
  • Offer high levels of supervision and support to children and young adults
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 months post-qualification experience working with children and/or young adults
  • Age 21 or above to meet industry regulations
  • Knowledge in one of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
  • Diploma level 3 in children's and young people's care, with level 4 desirable
  • Enhanced DBS clearance, which can be applied for upon registration
  • Full UK driving license
