About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Timeplan Education Group Ltd. This rewarding role involves supporting students with profound and multiple learning disabilities, including those with physical disabilities.

As a SEN teaching assistant, you will work with students across all age ranges, from primary to secondary, in a classroom setting, small groups, or on a 1-to-1 basis. Your role will be crucial in helping students access the curriculum and supporting their personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with learning disabilities and physical disabilities, helping them navigate the challenges of everyday school life.
  • Provide tailored support to individuals or small groups, adapting resources to meet diverse needs.
  • Promote an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Support teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
  • Help students with daily tasks, including communication, mobility, and personal care where required.

Requirements:

  • Some experience in supporting students with SEN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
