Job Summary:
Morgan Ryder Associates Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing the CNC function within our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance the CNC function within the business.
- Work in synergy with the production planner to meet bespoke customer demands on time.
- Grow, train, and manage the CNC team, including operators and programmers.
- Develop, test, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for scaled production.
- Implement automation solutions to streamline production processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in small component manufacturing for high-reliability sectors.
- Proficiency in CNC Turning.
- Hands-on experience with 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines.
- Strong programming skills.
- HNC qualification, preferably alongside a time-served apprenticeship.
- Hands-on operational experience.
- Evidence of good longevity in previous roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
- Experience with implementing automation in manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
