Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading Global Consumer Manufacturing Company in the Deeside area.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with a focus on maintenance and repair of complex machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
  • Examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements.
  • Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules.
  • Share good ideas to form mini-projects to improve plant performance, including machinery modifications.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or maintenance or similar manufacturing.
  • HND or HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
  • Or equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with a manufacturing background.
  • Ideally, manufacturing industry experience.

Candidates with experience as a Multi-skilled Engineer, Multi-skilled Maintenance, Shift engineer, Electrical engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or any equivalent background will be suitable for the role.
