About the Role

Caspians One is seeking a highly skilled Murex Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in the heart of financial services. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the optimization of the trading and risk management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Murex Configuration and Support: Configure and maintain Murex systems to support trading, risk management, and operations. Provide day-to-day support to ensure smooth system functionality.
  • Trade Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire trade life cycle within Murex, from trade capture through to settlement, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • System Upgrades and Enhancements: Work on system upgrades, enhancements, and the implementation of new features. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure successful rollouts.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve Murex-related issues, working closely with traders, risk managers, and IT teams to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with various stakeholders, including Front Office, risk, compliance, and IT teams, to gather requirements, provide training, and deliver Murex-related projects.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and workflows. Generate reports and analytics to support decision-making.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 4-7 years of experience as a Murex Analyst within a financial services environment, with a strong understanding of trading and risk management processes.
  • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Murex system architecture, configuration, and Scripting. Experience with Murex modules such as Front Office, Risk, and Operations is essential.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: A degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
