We are seeking a skilled and experienced School Finance Business Partner to join our Management Accounting Team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to support the Schools Finance Business Partner and take the lead on various aspects of our Schools Finance functions.

Job Description

This post focuses on education finance, involving significant collaborative work and business partnering with other AfC colleagues as well as with colleagues working in schools across both Kingston and Richmond boroughs.

About You
  • Part AAT qualified or studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (AAT/CPFA) is desirable but applications from candidates qualified by experience are also encouraged.
  • Experience of supporting school reviews of financial performance and taking appropriate and timely action when projections indicate that action is required.
  • Experience of setting, monitoring and closing a service budget.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including 29 days annual leave, increasing to 33 days after 2 years and 35 days after 4 years with an additional day off in your birthday month, or for term time workers, your leave entitlement consists of the non-working periods in your contract. The estimated salary for this role is around £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
