Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative hardware solutions for our RF spectrum monitoring products.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hardware components, including circuit boards, microcontrollers, and other electronic devices.
  • Develop and implement high-speed digital design techniques to ensure efficient and reliable system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware components into our RF spectrum monitoring products.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Conduct system testing and characterization to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement test tools and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective testing of hardware components.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production and delivery of hardware components.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in RF spectrum monitoring technology.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in electronics engineering, with a focus on digital design and circuit analysis.
  • Experience with high-speed digital design techniques, including signal integrity and timing analysis.
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools, such as Altium or Cadence.
  • Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems programming.
  • Strong understanding of RF systems architecture and circuit simulation.
  • Experience with system test and characterization, including signal analysis and measurement techniques.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.

Desirable:

  • Experience with FPGA design and programming.
  • Knowledge of RF test and measurement techniques, including VNA and spectrum analyzer operation.
  • Experience with Linux embedded systems and microcontrollers.
  • Knowledge of bus protocols, including PCIe, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping of RF designs and mechanical structures.
