Merridale Ltd is a leading provider of electronic fuel management systems and fuel pumps. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Service and Installation Specialist to join our team in Wolverhampton.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Service and Installation Specialist to install, service, and maintain our cutting-edge electronic fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment at customers' sites nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, maintain, calibrate, and upgrade fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment at customers' sites.
  • Provide technical advice to customers and distributors, ensuring exceptional service both face-to-face and by telephone.
  • Keep detailed records of installations, service visits, work undertaken, and parts/stock used.
  • Conduct site surveys as required.
  • Assist with the manufacturing of fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment.

Requirements

  • A minimum qualification of a Level 3 NVQ in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (or equivalent) is required.
  • Ability to adapt to a busy and demanding installation and service environment.
  • Physically capable of attending customers' sites on a nationwide basis.
  • Willingness to learn and apply electrical, mechanical, and technical principles relevant to our products.
  • Clean driving license and willingness to work away from home occasionally.
  • Availability for overtime and flexibility to occasionally work out of core hours.

Package

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week) with overtime opportunities.
  • 25 days holiday, plus statutory public holidays.
  • Competitive salary: £32,000 to £34,000 per year (possibly higher for an exceptional candidate), depending on experience and qualifications, plus overtime.
  • Annual bonus.
  • Company van provided.
