Service and Installation Engineer (Petrol Pumps)

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Service and Installation Engineer to join our team at Merridale in Wolverhampton. As a key member of our installation and service team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining our cutting-edge electronic fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment at customers' sites nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, maintain, calibrate, and upgrade fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment at customers' sites.
  • Provide technical advice to customers and distributors, ensuring exceptional service both face-to-face and by telephone.
  • Keep detailed records of installations, service visits, work undertaken, and parts/stock used.
  • Conduct site surveys as required.
  • Assist with the manufacturing of fuel management systems, fuel pumps, and associated equipment.
Requirements:
  • A minimum qualification of a Level 3 NVQ in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (or equivalent).
  • Ability to adapt to a busy and demanding installation and service environment.
  • Willingness to learn and apply electrical, mechanical, and technical principles relevant to our products.
  • Clean driving license and willingness to work away from home occasionally.
  • Availability for overtime and flexibility to occasionally work out of core hours.
