About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Home Manager to lead our team of care professionals in providing exceptional support to young people with autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure high-quality care, support, and accommodation to individuals with autism.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance, developing action plans to address areas for improvement.
  • Compile reports to support regulatory visits and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Provide guidance, knowledge, and experience to the care team.
  • Support with HR-related issues and participate in regulatory inspections.
  • Update and maintain company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Significant operational experience in a care environment, working with all levels of staff and management.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage emotionally challenging situations and be a team player.
  • Ensure effective operation of small care homes for young people with autism.
  • High level of personal resilience and emotional and social intelligence.
  • Oversee and supervise residential staff, ensuring they are appropriately trained and supported.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Residential and RI to reflect the quality of the service provided during inspections.
  • Ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification for approval as a registered manager with CIW and Social Care Wales.
