Avante Care & Support is a Registered Charity that provides support to older people through our registered nursing and dementia care homes and home care services.

We are a well-established not for profit organisation with an experienced and skilled workforce, committed to making a positive difference to individuals and their loved ones through individualised support and guidance.

This position is for 15 hours per week, on Saturday and Sunday's only, 9am to 5pm, and involves providing general reception and telephonist duties at key times of day.

The successful candidate will be numerate and IT literate with good communication and keyboard skills, capable of using their own initiative and working as part of a team.

Main duties will include:

  • Welcoming visitors and showing them around the home's services and facilities.
  • Responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail, receiving and monitoring incoming telephone calls.

As a Receptionist at Avante Care & Support, you will also provide hospitality and support for the home, dealing with customer enquiries and undertaking other general administrative support.
