Clinical Psychologist for Community Learning Disability Team

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a clinical psychologist to join their Community Learning Disability Team. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessment and intervention in various settings, as well as offer consultation, training, and supervision to the multidisciplinary team.
The team provides services for people with learning disabilities, autism, or both across the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care System. The successful candidate will be part of a team of almost 200 multi-disciplinary staff and will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients.
The role offers regular clinical and professional supervision from a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and membership of the Learning Disability Psychology Specialty and the wider Psychological Professions Community within the Trust.

Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological assessment and intervention in various settings

- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or equivalent
- Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities
- Knowledge of legislation and its implications in relation to the client group and mental health
