Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the Laboratory Team: Manage daily laboratory operations, including staff, resources, and specialist technical services in automation.
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise, train, and develop junior staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Troubleshoot technical issues with analysers and other equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to laboratory operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • MSc and Specialist Knowledge: Hold an MSc in Biochemistry or a related field and have specialist knowledge in this area.
  • HCPC Registration: Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
