Job Description

Prospero Teaching is seeking a SEMH Teaching Assistant to provide person-centred support to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours associated with social, emotional and mental health issues.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver support to children and young people who display challenging behaviour
  • Utilise de-escalation techniques to manage difficult situations
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement individualised support plans

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviour
  • De-escalation training would be advantageous
