About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting Primary schools in Bridport and surrounding areas on an Ad-hoc basis.

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Has a passion for supporting children's education and personal development.
Job Description

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across various Primary schools, assisting Teachers in delivering high-quality education and creating a positive learning environment.

You may work with individual students, small groups, or provide general support within the classroom. The role involves:

  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
  • Providing 1:1 support to students when needed.
  • Helping maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Supporting students with additional learning needs.
  • Supervising students during break times and supporting classroom management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience within a similar role is beneficial, but we welcome applicants with a genuine interest in working with children.
  • A positive and adaptable attitude and willingness to work across different schools.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and supportive approach to working with children of varying abilities.
  • DBS Certification, that is registered with the Update Service. Or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
