Job Title: Staff Nurse (Chemotherapy Day Unit) Band 5

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Nurse to join our team at the James Cook University Hospital. As a Staff Nurse in our Chemotherapy Day Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of a first-class service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide holistic care to patients undergoing treatments for a wide range of cancers and medical conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service provision.
Requirements:
  • Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
