Overview

EC&I Partners is seeking an experienced Controls & Instrumentation (C&I) Projects Engineer to lead C&I project teams and deliver projects and outages across UK and Swedish assets.

The role will involve leading project teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring process and regulatory compliance with the highest standard of HSSE and Quality performance.

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading and delivering projects and outages, identifying and managing stakeholders, and ensuring process and regulatory compliance.

You will also be responsible for undertaking proactive and reactive work, including fault finding, problem solving, and investigations, across a broad range of process plant and systems.

Key Activities

  • Lead project teams and deliver projects and outages
  • Manage stakeholders and ensure process and regulatory compliance
  • Undertake proactive and reactive work, including fault finding and problem solving
  • Establish and deliver contractor Quality Assurance and Quality Control
  • Promote a culture of health, safety, environmental awareness, and quality

Essential

  • Educated to a Higher National Diploma or Degree level in a Control & Instrumentation related discipline
  • Good working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards
  • Sound understanding of complex C&I process system operations and current regulations
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
  • In-depth knowledge of project management tools and techniques
  • Organisational, contract, and project management skills
  • Full and clean UK driving license

Desirable

  • Use and knowledge of best practice lean tools for resolving engineering issues
  • Management, fault finding, and troubleshooting of DCS and PLC systems
  • Management of alarms and simulations
  • Knowledge and competence of using SAP based systems
