About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Communications and Engagement Specialist to join our team at East Cheshire NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our communications and engagement strategy, ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public affairs and media relations, with experience of working in or closely with the media at all levels. They will also have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people from a range of organisations, levels and backgrounds.

As Communications and Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our communications and engagement team, leading them in delivering a creative and innovative communications and engagement strategy for our Trust. This will involve prioritising multiple and competing communications requests and working alongside colleagues at all levels across the Trust.

The estimated salary for this role is around £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
