Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Electrical Power Engineering Apprentice in the Lighting & Grid department.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in power engineering, earning qualifications over a four-year period with regular block release training programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals on technical aspects of Lighting & Grid
  • Participate in comprehensive training sessions to develop trade skills, including plant operation and live electrical connections
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the power engineering industry through valuable experience with a major energy solutions company
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs grades A-C / 9-4 (or equivalent) including Maths, English Language and Science
  • Demonstrated interest in engineering through relevant work placements, studies, hobbies, or projects
