Compliance Role Overview

We're seeking a Compliance Assistant to join our team at Howett Thorpe, a UK-based financial services company.

This is an entry-level role in our compliance department, ideal for someone who wants to develop their compliance skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.

Key Tasks
  • Maintaining compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
  • Supporting the compliance team with audits, assessments, and risk management activities
  • Reviewing and updating compliance documentation and records
  • Preparation of compliance reports and communication with stakeholders
  • Conducting compliance checks and ensuring accurate reporting
  • Responding to internal and external queries regarding compliance issues
  • Assisting in the preparation for internal and external audits
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Desirable: Full or part qualification in compliance, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of financial regulations is beneficial
  • Full driving licence required due to office location
  • Right to work in the UK is essential
