We are seeking a Volunteer Companion to join our team at SeeAbility, where you will play an important role in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

As a Volunteer Companion, you will be a reliable companion to attend activities with the people we support, fostering meaningful relationships and creating opportunities for them to engage in their community.

This role requires someone who is kind, empathetic, and friendly, with excellent communication skills. You will need to be punctual and reliable, able to deal with confidential information, and assist with sighted guide/orientation when necessary.

In return for your time and skills, you will gain valuable experience working with vulnerable adults, develop new friendships, and contribute to the well-being of our service users.

The estimated salary for this role is £10-12 per hour, depending on location and experience. Travel expenses can be claimed.

Please note that you will need to undergo a DBS check and provide two satisfactory references before commencing this volunteer role.
