Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our client's team in their nursing home based in the Witham area. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the management of the home, working closely with the Home Manager and other members of the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Nurse looking to take a step up in their clinical career or a Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead looking for a new challenge. The successful candidate will have previous experience in the nursing home setting, strong clinical knowledge, and a passion for elderly and dementia care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the nursing home
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and care staff to deliver high-quality care to residents
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of residents
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the home
  • Work closely with other departments, such as HR and Finance, to ensure the effective management of the home

Requirements

  • Qualified Nurse (RGN) with at least 2 years' experience in a nursing home setting
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with a particular focus on elderly and dementia care
  • Leadership experience within a Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
