About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to lead the daily management of our workshop facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our workshops, including managing staff, resources, and workflow.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the development of design and fabrication expertise within the Faculty, ensuring that both facilities and staff are kept up-to-date with related technologies.
  • Developing and deploying teaching programs directly and indirectly relating to strategic plans.
  • Delegating and monitoring technical, operational health and safety, and personal performance compliance obligations within the team.
  • Carrying out regular monitoring of UCL, Faculty, and School strategic plans, assessing how they are being addressed and supported.
  • Defining and executing short, mid, and long-term management programs for the workshop within B-made and its service provision within the school as a whole.
  • Ensuring that B-made's inventory of equipment is kept up to date and integrated with strategic plans for equipment replacement or disposal.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
